Project description

Svadhyaya is a Sanskrit term which means self-study. Garli is a small village in the Kangra district Himachal Pradesh. One of the reasons why this site was perfect to have a space like this is the current scenario where all youngsters have to go to far away places to get quality education. This new development reflects the Kath-Khuni architecture techniques of stacking alternate layers of stone and Teak wood to make Earthquake proof structures and the form symbolizing the community with the introduction to e-learning modes of education. The intent of Svadhyaya, the tiny library or learning center is to create to create an inviting space for all.
