Project description
Long before the existence of modern civilization and language, even before the terms “architecture” and “houses” came into being, the oldest forms of shelter on Earth were caves and trees. These primal refuges protected against harsh weather and nurtured life, offering sanctuary to creatures great and small. Taking inspiration from nature’s oldest shelters, Varun Garg Architects
envisioned a home that seamlessly fuses these elements—creating what we call the “Dendro-Cave,” reimagined for the urban landscape.
A sleek wooden staircase with curved railings, cantilevered treads, clean concrete walls, and natural light streaming through large skylight windows.
An illuminated canopy supported by a Y-shaped column crowns this home, featuring perforated metal panels, textured stone, and glass railings.
The building showcases a striking Y-shaped column, extended canopy, perforated metal panels, glass railings, and lush planter-lined balcony.
A sculptural wooden staircase with curved railing, open risers, and natural lighting from skylights and large windows enhances vertical movement.
Backlit Y-column supports an illuminated canopy above a lush balcony, with perforated metal cladding, large windows, and a visible staircase.
