Project description
The Family Lounge – The Vault House, Jaipur
This space embodies the essence of The Vault House with its striking brick barrel-vaulted ceiling and exposed brick walls, creating both warmth and strength in design. The natural play of light through the high arched window accentuates the handcrafted textures, while the interiors remain minimal and functional. Locally sourced materials, earthy tones, and crafted wooden furniture lend a timeless character to the lounge. Designed as a family gathering space, it celebrates simplicity, comfort, and the elegance of raw construction.
“The Vault & The Flat Roof – A seamless dialogue between structural innovation and domestic intimacy. The exposed brick vault contrasts with the flat roof opening to the outdoors, blending strength, light, and openness within.
The Vault House frames moments of light, brick, and openness an interplay of shelter and freedom.
Brick, wood, and light converge, creating a space where structure feels both protective and liberating.
Strength in the vault, serenity in the flat roof together shaping a timeless architectural harmony.
A dialogue of contrasts: the curved vault embraces the sky, while the flat roof opens to greenery.
