Project description
This project is a G+4 residential building planned on a 20 feet x 30 feet corner plot located in Jakkur, Bangalore. The corner plot advantage has been strategically utilized to enhance natural ventilation, daylight access, and dual façade visibility.
The design focuses on a modern, space-efficient, and practical urban residential concept, considering the compact site size and high-density surroundings. The façade is designed with a clean and contemporary language, featuring simple geometric forms, vertical and horizontal projections, and balanced fenestration to maintain visual harmony from both street sides.
Special attention is given to Bangalore’s moderate climate by incorporating large openings, balconies, and ventilation shafts for cross ventilation and maximum natural light. Shading elements such as pergolas, fins, and slab projections are integrated to reduce direct heat gain while enhancing the elevation aesthetics.
Internally, the building is planned for optimal space utilization, with well-organized circulation areas including staircases and common corridors, ensuring efficient movement between floors. The ground floor accommodates parking and essential services, while the upper floors are designed for residential or rental units as per functional requirements.
The corner plot design enhances the overall street presence of the building, making it visually prominent while improving indoor comfort.
