Project description
A terrace imagined as yesterday’s garden — where time slows, routines soften, and each corner invites pause. Designed for an elderly couple, the space carries quiet rhythms: morning yoga under the sky, slow walks amidst greens, an afternoon nap in a cozy room, and the gentle murmur of water close by.
Materials were chosen to speak in textures rather than words. Black granite lines the walls, grounding the space with quiet drama. Mild steel frames and wooden details weave in rawness with warmth, while the planting softens every edge. A small pantry serves comfort, and the scattered seaters become places to pause, reflect, or simply share a moment.
What was once just a rooftop now feels like a lived-in landscape — part retreat, part memory. A place not chasing modernity, but returning to something more personal, more felt. A space to grow, rest, and just be.
