Madhusudan Row House Spread across a generous 2,160 sq. ft. carpet area, this bungalow-style residence is envisioned as a seamless blend of modern architectural grandeur, spatial functionality, and bespoke interior luxury. Designed for client Pradeep Joshi, the project transitions effortlessly from grand double-height volumes to intimate, restful private sanctuaries. Design Concept & Spatial Narrative Expansive Living & Entertainment Zone: The primary living area makes an immediate visual statement with high-end finishes, anchored by an L-shaped rust-orange sectional sofa set against a grand backlit bookmatched Italian marble wall. Dark vertical acoustic louvers, integrated golden brass shelving, and multi-tier ceiling coves with warm wood inlays establish a rich, multi-dimensional atmosphere. Open-Plan Dining: Flowing naturally from the living area, the dining space features a circular marble dining table paired with tailored rust upholstery and slender brass legs. The backdrop features delicate vertical wall paneling framing a minimalist circular wall clock, creating an airy and uncluttered dining experience. Sculptural Double-Height Staircase: Taking full advantage of the bungalow's vertical volume, a striking black cantilevered staircase rises through a double-height stairwell clad in refined geometric grid wall paneling. Circular brass wall sconces illuminate the ascent, while the space beneath is utilized for a powder vanity equipped with a fluted cabinet and a glowing pill-shaped LED mirror. Modular Kitchen & Spiritual Corner: The kitchen adopts a parallel layout with matte petrol-blue cabinetry, polished black granite counters, and full-height marble splashbacks. Adjacent to it sits a dedicated pooja space enclosed by a custom brass fluted screen with temple bells, spotlighting a backlit scalloped arch adorned with lotus artwork and a pristine white stepped altar. Master Bedroom Suite: The master bedroom embodies quiet luxury, featuring an illuminated architectural arch behind a plush terracotta headboard, warm vertical wall paneling, an asymmetric wavy dressing mirror, and full-height reflective rose-gold tinted glass wardrobes that amplify natural daylight and spatial openness. Materiality, Palette & Finishes Base & Accent Tones: A neutral foundation of warm greys, ivory, and soft taupe, dynamically enriched with terracotta, rust, deep petrol blue, and charcoal accents. Surfaces: Bookmatched Italian marble slabs, vertical MDF fluting, PU matte laminates, seamless large-format vitrified floor tiles, and textured backdrop artwork. Metallic & Glass Accents: Brushed brass profile trims, fluted glass partitions, hanging temple bell details, and reflective rose-gold wardrobe shutters. Illumination Design: A curated mix of concealed perimeter cove lighting, magnetic track spotlights, designer globe chandeliers, and ambient backlit arches that bring warmth and focus to architectural details.
