Project description

This home reflects a blend of Mediterranean Revival architecture and Contemporary Tropical Design. Key elements—pitched terracotta-tiled roofs, arched windows, white stucco walls, shaded verandas, pergolas, and a strong indoor–outdoor connection, place it in the aesthetic lineage of Mediterranean coastal villas adapted to a tropical climate. This project introduces a serene, climate-responsive residence inspired by Mediterranean Revival architecture and adapted for a tropical hillside context. The design focuses on creating a tranquil retreat that merges classical charm with modern spatial comfort. The architectural strategy combines pitched terracotta roofs, arched windows, and white stucco surfaces with contemporary outdoor decks and pergola-shaded terraces. These elements work together to soften heat, filter daylight, and create cool, shaded zones throughout the day. The building steps down the sloping site, allowing each level to open to nature while maintaining privacy and uninterrupted views.
