Project description

Set amidst farmlands, this farmhouse gracefully blends traditional and rustic elements with modern living. Wanting a place near the revered Jain temple, the farmhouse has now become a beloved weekend getaway spot for the family and all their friends whom they lovingly host often. The site is part of a plotting scheme with farmlands all around it. This project features a double volume living area that looks out into the gardens, which are planned along the east edge of the site. The courtyard becomes the center of the building, inviting people to walk out towards the plinth and the gardens beyond. An open kitchen with a breakfast bar and a dining area beyond makes the space feel open and enables easy conversations to flow. The dining area opens into the courtyard with a charming Champa tree in its center framing the view. Apart from this, the place has 4 bedrooms and a sound proof home theatre.
