How to get MOA Pro: who gets the ₹99 first month, each checkout screen, what UPI Autopay means for you, where to cancel, and what happens if Pro lapses.
Going Pro on MOA takes a few minutes: open the Pro page, check the order summary, tick the agreement and pay through Razorpay by UPI Autopay or card. If you have never had MOA Pro or a free Pro month before, the first month is ₹99 + GST (₹116.82), then ₹399 + GST (₹470.82) a month until you cancel from About > Subscription on your profile. If Pro ever lapses, nothing is deleted: extra projects are hidden and come back when you renew.
About the details below: every step, screen name and rule comes from MOA's live Pro, checkout and policy pages and from the way the product is built, checked on 21 Oct 2026. Totals with GST are our arithmetic at 18%; the checkout shows the exact amount before you pay. The signed-in screenshots are from the profile of MOA's founder, Saahil Khattri (13 Designs Studio). For what each Pro feature does and who it suits, read MOA Pro explained first.
MOA Pro is for architects and interior designers with a profile on MOA. If you are signed out, checkout asks you to sign in first. New to MOA? Start with our guide to building a strong MOA profile, because Pro shows off whatever is already there.
The ₹99 offer applies once per member:
You get it if you have never had a paid Pro subscription or a free Pro month.
You do not lose it by opening checkout and closing the Razorpay window without paying. The offer stays.
You do not get it again once you have paid for Pro or had a free month.
The top of the Pro page, where checkout starts from the Get MOA Pro button. Screenshot: MOA
Open the Pro page. Screen: /pro. Tap "Get MOA Pro · first month ₹99".
Read the order summary. Screen: /pro/checkout. The order summary lists MOA Pro, monthly, ₹399; First month offer, minus ₹300; GST (18%), ₹17.82; and Total today, ₹116.82. Under it, a grey note gives the date your ₹399 + GST months begin, one month from today, "charged automatically until you cancel".
Tick the agreement. The box reads that you agree to the Terms, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, "and to the monthly charge until I cancel". The Pay button stays off until it is ticked.
Tap "Pay ₹116.82". Razorpay's own window opens. Choose UPI Autopay or a card. Your UPI or card details go to Razorpay, not to MOA.
Approve the payment. For UPI Autopay, approve the request in your UPI app with your UPI PIN. For a card, complete your bank's check.
Wait for confirmation. The page shows "Confirming your payment…" for a few seconds, then opens MOA's welcome page. If your bank is slow, Pro switches on by itself once the payment is confirmed, and MOA emails you.
If the payment fails, the page says "The payment didn't go through. You weren't charged." and offers Try again.
Paying this way sets up a Razorpay subscription. Razorpay describes Subscriptions as a way to "set up and manage recurring payments", by card or UPI AutoPay (Razorpay Docs: Subscriptions). In plain terms:
What you approve: ₹116.82 today, then ₹470.82 a month from the date on the checkout note, until you cancel.
Notice before each charge: Razorpay's UPI FAQ says you are notified 24 hours before each debit and can pause or cancel the mandate from your UPI app (Razorpay Docs: UPI recurring payments FAQs).
No PIN each month: the RBI's E-mandate Framework, 2026 lets recurring debits of up to ₹15,000 go through without extra authentication, and lets you withdraw the mandate at any time (RBI: Digital Payments, E-mandate Framework, 2026). ₹470.82 is well under that limit.
Cards: Razorpay says card details are tokenised "with explicit consent during authorisation".
Our advice: to stop Pro, cancel on MOA rather than only in your UPI app. Cancelling on MOA ends the Razorpay subscription and keeps Pro until the end of the month you paid for. If you only revoke the mandate, the next charge fails instead. Razorpay then retries it, your Subscription tab shows "Your last payment didn't go through", and Pro stays on for three more days before it ends.
The ₹99 first month is only sold through the auto-renewing checkout above. Once you have had Pro, or a free month, there is a second route at /pro/renew, the page MOA's "a week left" and "paused" emails link to. It offers two cards:
Pay for one month: ₹470.82 by UPI, card or netbanking. Nothing renews by itself, and MOA reminds you before it ends.
Auto-renew: ₹470.82 a month by UPI Autopay or card. If you still have Pro, the first charge waits until your current month ends.
If you take the ₹99 month but do not want a standing mandate, you can cancel the same day. Pro stays on for the month you paid for, and you can come back later through /pro/renew, one month at a time.
On your profile card: a "MOA Pro" row with a small diamond, under your studio, cities, completed projects and COA status.
On listing cards in the directories: a "◆ Pro" badge.
What does not change: your place in the /architects and /interior-designers directories. They list newest members first, shuffled within each page, and Pro does not move a studio up.

Regional featuring needs two things from you: a city on your profile and at least one published project. For presenting projects well, see our guide to publishing projects on MOA.

Open your profile, tap About, then Subscription in the side menu. The link /pro/manage goes to the same place.
The line next to "Benefits under your plan" tells you where you stand:
"Renews on [date] · ₹399 + GST/month": autopay is on and the next charge is on that date.
"Ends on [date]": you have cancelled; Pro runs to that date.
"Paid through [date]": you paid for one month through /pro/renew, and it will not renew by itself.
"Free until [date] · then ₹399 + GST/month": a free month with auto-renew set up, as on the account in the screenshot. Cancelling before that date means nothing is charged.
About > Subscription, where you see your plan, its renewal date and the cancel option. This account is on a free month, so the line reads Free until. Screenshot: MOA
Open About > Subscription and tap "Switch to Starter plan". Starter is the name this screen uses for the free plan.
Read the dialog. It asks "Switch to the Starter plan?", gives the date Pro stays on until, and says you won't be charged again. It also lists what changes after that date.
Tap "Switch to Starter" to confirm, or "Keep MOA Pro" to back out.
After that, the line reads "Ends on [date]". The dialog warns that a paid subscription's cancellation can't be undone, but you can subscribe again once it ends.
MOA's Refunds & Cancellation Policy says you may cancel at any time; "Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period"; "No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods"; and you keep access until the end of your paid period. Refund requests go through support, with transaction details and a reason, and take 5 to 10 business days. Exceptions MOA may consider include technical issues that prevent service delivery and platform service disruptions. The checkout asks you to agree to this policy and MOA's Terms and Conditions before you pay.
Pro lapses when a cancelled month ends, when a one-month payment runs out without renewal, or when a failed renewal is not fixed within the three-day retry window. Here is what changes, and what comes back.

When you come back, /pro/renew opens with "Your MOA Pro is paused." and tells you how many projects are hidden. Pay for a month or turn on auto-renew, and they return.
Yes. The main checkout takes UPI Autopay or a card through Razorpay. If you have had Pro before, /pro/renew also lets you pay for a single month by UPI, card or netbanking with nothing renewing by itself.
No. The ₹99 month is for members who have never had a paid Pro subscription or a free month. After either, Pro is ₹399 + GST a month.
Go to your profile, then About > Subscription, and tap "Switch to Starter plan". Pro stays on until the end of the month you paid for, and nothing more is charged.
No. The Refunds & Cancellation Policy says no refunds are given for partial subscription periods, and that you keep access until the end of the paid period.
No. Projects beyond your first five, by upload date, are hidden from everyone, including you, until you renew. Nothing is deleted, and they return with their views when Pro comes back.
