Luxury Furniture in Jaipur: Showrooms and Bespoke Makers

For luxury furniture in Jaipur you have three routes: a designer studio with its own showroom, such as Anantaya at Narain Niwas Palace or Talo Luxe (by appointment); a bespoke solid wood maker, such as Jaipur Woods in Mansarovar or Bene Decor in Sitapura; or a national brand store, such as Sofas & More by Stanley on Ajmer Road. Whichever you choose, the price is set by the timber, the joinery, the hours of hand work and the finish, so a clear written brief matters more than the showroom.

About the names and numbers below: we name a business only when its own website, a stock exchange filing or a design magazine says what it makes and where. Prices are the business's own listed prices, read on 31 Oct 2026; they are not quotes, and the pages do not always say whether GST and delivery are included. Lead times and the brief checklist are our guidance. No business paid to appear, and MOA takes no commission.

Luxury furniture showrooms in Jaipur: how this list was made

Search for "luxury furniture showroom in Jaipur" and you mostly get directory pages and star ratings. We used neither. For each name below we opened the business's own website, or a public source such as an NSE filing or a magazine feature, and noted what it sells and which area it is in. The list is grouped by type, then ordered alphabetically within each group. It is not a ranking, and it is not complete: many good Jaipur workshops have no website, so we could not check them.

Designer furniture in Jaipur: studios with showrooms

Anantaya (Narain Singh Road)

Anantaya is the product label of designer Ayush Kasliwal and architect Geetanjali Kasliwal, who also run AKFD Studio. Its site lists furniture (seating, side, nesting, centre and dining tables, valet stands) alongside lighting, decor and tableware, and a bespoke service called Khaas. The Anantaya Experience Center is at The Kanota Courtyard, Narain Niwas Palace, on Narayan Singh Road. Current Mood Magazine also lists it for lighting, planters and furniture at Kanota Bagh.

Talo Home and Talo Luxe (area not published)

Design Essentia magazine reported in October 2025 that Talo Luxe, founded by architect Siddharth Jain and Purvi Jain, opened a 6,000 sq ft flagship within the same premises as the 16,000 sq ft Talo Home store, which sells more accessible contemporary furniture. The magazine says pieces are made in the brand's own 50,000 sq ft production unit and that the flagship is open strictly by appointment. It describes the location only as "in the heart of Jaipur", and we did not find an official website, so confirm the address before you go.

Luxury furniture manufacturers in Jaipur: bespoke makers

Bene Decor (Sitapura)

Bene Decor makes solid wood furniture for living rooms, dining, bedrooms and offices. Its site names seasoned teak and sheesham, a workshop in Jaipur, and an address in Sitapura, and it takes custom orders through its contact page. It does not mention a showroom, so call before visiting.

Jaipur Woods (Mansarovar)

Jaipur Woods describes itself as a furniture design and manufacturing company and calls its pieces bespoke. Its catalogue covers centre, side, console and nesting tables, pouffes, mirrors and wall decor, and it shows residential projects in Jaipur. The address on its site is in Sohan Nagar-B, Manyawas, Mansarovar, and its listed hours are Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm.

Trunks Company (Jaipur)

Trunks Company makes hand-painted steamer and trousseau trunks, trunk bars and cabinets, and has a bespoke trunk-making service. It is the extreme end of bespoke: the site says each trunk takes on average 2,800 hours of work across five craft studios, so it makes no more than 100 a year. Its site does not publish prices or a street address; you register interest online.

Luxury furniture stores in Jaipur: national brands

Sofas & More by Stanley (Ajmer Road, Hathroi)

Stanley Lifestyles told the stock exchanges on 3 August 2026 that it had opened a 6,500 sq ft Sofas & More by Stanley store at Ajmer Road, Hathroi, with partner NDA Corp. The filing lists sofas, recliners, beds, mattresses, dining tables and armchairs.

For any other national or imported brand, use the brand's own store locator, not a directory. When we checked Durian's store locator on 31 Oct 2026, it listed no Jaipur store.

Artisan furniture in Jaipur: export makers that sell locally

A lot of Jaipur's furniture is made for buyers abroad. The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) lists a Handicraft Productivity Centre at Jaipur among its craft-hub facilities. Artisan Furniture, a London-based wholesale supplier, says it makes in its own factory in India with an operational office in Jaipur. Its site names the UK, USA, Canada, Europe and Australia as its markets, not Indian homes.

So an export workshop may not sell to you at all. If one does, our guidance is to ask:

Retail or trade only? Many export units sell only in container loads or through a designer.
Is the sample sized for India? Export pieces are often drawn for other markets, so check seat height, bed sizes and table depth against your room.
Where is the wood from? Exporters of sheesham and rosewood have had to prove it. EPCH said in October 2018 that its VRIKSH certificates for wooden handicrafts of Dalbergia sissoo and Dalbergia latifolia involve establishing the chain of custody and legality of the wood. A workshop used to that paperwork should be able to tell you where your timber came from.

Solid wood and cane: what to ask for

Name the timber

"Solid wood" on a quote is not enough. Ask for the species (sheesham, teak, mango or acacia are common in Rajasthan furniture), whether each face is solid or veneer over plywood or MDF, and the finished thickness of tops and legs. Our guidance: get it written on the drawing and the invoice.

Ask for seasoned timber at 10 to 12% moisture

Wood that is too wet shrinks after delivery, which opens joints and cracks tops. The Indian Standard IS 287: 1993 divides India into four zones by average annual humidity. Its Table 1 caps timber for furniture and cabinet making at 10% moisture in Zone I and 12% in Zone II. On the standard's map, Jaipur sits in the dry Zone I, close to the line with Zone II, so 10 to 12% is a sensible target. The standard accepts a lot whose average is within 2 percentage points of the limit and individual pieces within 3. BIS has since issued a 2022 edition, which we could not open, so ask your maker which edition they work to and ask to see the timber checked with a moisture meter.

Cane furniture in Jaipur: check the GST line

Since 22 September 2025, GST has had a standard rate of 18% and a merit rate of 5%. The GST Council's release moved "furniture wholly made of bamboo, cane or rattan" from 12% to 5%. Solid wood and upholstered furniture is not in that list, so it is billed at 18%. In our reading, a teak sideboard with cane door panels is not "wholly" cane, so expect 18% on it too; ask for the HSN code and rate on the invoice.

We did not find a cane maker in Jaipur with its own website to name. Whoever makes yours, our guidance is to ask whether the cane panels are removable for re-caning, and keep cane out of direct afternoon sun.

Luxury furniture price: what drives it

None of the bespoke makers above publishes a price list for custom work, so we cannot give you a Jaipur rate per piece. Two publish prices for ready designs, which show where designer pieces start:

For a bespoke quote, these are the things that move the number, in our experience:

Timber species and how much of it is solid. A veneered carcass with solid edges costs less than solid throughout.
Joinery. Mortise and tenon or dovetails take longer than screws and dowels.
Hand work. Carving, inlay, hand-painting and cane add skilled hours, often more than the wood.
Finish. A multi-coat PU or a hand-rubbed oil finish takes days of coats and curing.
Upholstery and hardware. Foam, fabric or leather, and branded runners and hinges, are separate line items.
One-off or repeat. A design the workshop already makes needs no new drawings, jigs or sample.

Lead times: how long bespoke furniture takes

Bespoke takes weeks, not days. Most of the time goes into making and finishing, and both stretch when the piece has carving or inlay, or when the maker has to buy fresh timber and season it. Trunks Company's figure of 2,800 hours for one trunk shows how far hand work can push it.

How to brief a furniture maker in Jaipur

Our guidance, in order:

Measure the room and the route in: door widths, the lift and the staircase turn.
Bring two or three reference photos and say what you like in each.
Get a dimensioned drawing back with the eight points in the drawing above, and sign that rather than a photo.
Approve a finish sample on an offcut of the same timber, under your own lighting if you can.
Agree stage payments, for example an advance, a payment after the carcass is inspected and the balance on delivery, with a written delivery date.
Inspect at the workshop before the final polish: open every drawer and door and check the joints.
Before you pay the balance, get a GST invoice that names the species, the HSN code and the rate, plus the warranty terms in writing, and confirm who pays for transport and installation.

How much does luxury furniture cost in Jaipur?

The four listed prices in our table run from ₹8,099 for a small side table to ₹32,900 for a statement table. Bespoke work is quoted per piece; no maker we checked publishes a custom price list.

Can I buy directly from a Jaipur furniture exporter?

Sometimes. Some export units sell only in bulk or through a designer. Ask whether they sell retail, whether the design suits Indian room sizes, and where the timber comes from.

Is cane furniture taxed less than wooden furniture?

Furniture wholly made of bamboo, cane or rattan is at 5% GST from 22 September 2025; other furniture is at the standard 18%. A wooden piece with cane panels is not wholly cane.

How long does bespoke furniture take in Jaipur?

Plan for about 8 to 12 weeks for a one-off solid wood piece, in our guidance, and longer for carving, inlay or hand-painting. Get the date in writing.
